Adding accounts to digsby is simple, and there are three separate categories for IM, e-mail, and social networks to help maintain a distinction and keep things organized. The application primarily looks and works like a chat client, and there are both pros and cons to this approach that we'll explore in a minute. Upon first run, it's clear that dotSyntax's developers chose to use the typical instant messaging UI as the basis for digsby. Right now, digsby is Windows-only, but Mac and Linux clients are on their way (you can sign up to be notified of their arrival). ![]()
